A long walk to water by Linda Sue Park- A great read about a two different stories being intertwined and connect together at the end of a long journey to getting water.


Sooley by John Grisham- A great story about a South Sudanese player growing up in the war era time and must endure going to the United States to play basketball but has trouble deciphering to go or not since there is a war and he hasn't heard from his family.


Educated by Tara Westover - A memoir written by the author herself and shares her life experiences of learning and and getting educated along the way with many challenges she faces.


The Rooster Bar by John Grisham - This is a great story about a 3 college students who are studying for the bar exam and they faces a murderous death of 1 of one students and must deal with this change.


Anne Frank's diary- The graphic adaptation by Ari Folman- This is a graphic novel that covers the story of Anne Frank during the Holocaust era and what her family must go through during this war time. There are great animations with amazing dialogues between what the family goes through and what Anne experiences.


The Queen's Gambit by Walter Tevis - This is about a girl named Beth Harmon and plays different people throughout many chess tournaments and struggles with personal challenges along the way and is highly dependent on chess to "cover up" her challenges.


City Spies by James Ponti - This is a story that 3 friends must solve a mysterious mystery that occurs in New York City and must find various clues along the way as the find new clues along the way as they act as investigators.


The Brethren by John Grisham - Three disgraced former judges are felonies and are placed in jail as they write letters to express their interest in the Presidential election and scams this election into thinking that they can receive money for this election.


Kira Kira by Cynthia Kadhhata- This is a story about a poor Japanese family living during the 1950s living in the south and Lynn dies of Lymphoma and tears the family apart.


The Enigma of Room 622 by Joel Dicker: A murder mystery inside a fancy Swiss hotel and you have to figure out who committed the murder.


Think Again by Adam Grant: Rethinking opinions, thoughts and ideas that are different than your own and shifting your own understanding to others who are different than you are.


Sparring Partners by John Grisham: Two unsuccessful lawyers inherits a prosperous firm from the owner which is their father, who was sent to prison.


51 shades of Chicken cookbook: 51 different ways to cook a chicken. This is full of hilarious titles for each chicken title and is meant to make you laugh when cooking!
